He is survived by wife, Michele daughter Leina (Mike) Yamaguchi son Clint (Roanne) Hinahara grandchildren: Michael Alan & Sean Yamaguchi, Lexi & Max Hinahara brothers Dennis (Myra), Wayne (Sharon Kaneshige) and sister Jean (Craig) Nakagawa mother-in-law, Jeanette Kimiyo Watanabe and nieces & nephews. Alan was preceded in death by parents, Minoru and Jane Sumiko Hinahara. He was born on June 8, 1950, in Lanai, Hawaii. Alan worked his way up from a laborer, to union carpenter and then to a General Superintendent of Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company for the past 53 years. Alan Susumu Hinahara, 72, of Aiea, Hawaii, passed away on January 3, 2023. He was born on June 8, 1950, on Lanai, Hawaii, graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1968 and served in the Army National Guard.
